Hi!
Our names our Jason & Rachel McCarron. We live in Charlottetown, PEI. We have been married for almost 2 years, but been together for 6 1/2. We have just begun our exciting journey to bring our first child home from Ethiopia! After a few years of trying for a biological child, we had come to a cross road when we looked and each other and thought "what are we doing"? There are so many children in the world that need parents now..not later. I truly believe this was God's plan for us all along, it just took us a while to figure it out! It is such a amazing feeling finally deciding to adopt, and starting the process! I feel like I am pregnant, only we're expecting from Ethiopia, and the gestation period is more like 20 months!!!
We are currently foster parents and are loving it! We have a beautiful 15 yr girl that lives with us and we get along great! She fits into our home like she has always lived there. We have been fostering for about a year now, and have had a lot of great children come and go. What a wonderful feeling knowing your making a difference in a child's life, how big or small it may be.
We are hopefully starting our home study this week....
we'll keep you posted. I can't believe how excited I am to start paperwork!!! LOL! We'll see how long that lasts!

I am so excited for you guys!!! This is absolutely the best decision you've made as any child will be lucky to have you guys as parents!
I will be right there with you if you need anything on your journey! I can't wait to meet this very special little one.
